Inka / Инка

this is one more pendant ispired by South America Indians.
i cannot explain why but i associate jade with them and their art - in fact they used it less then everything else like shells, but i have a strong associaion just with green jade... maybe because its colour resembles jungle forests...


once i bought the button - its ornament is like Indians' rock carvings! (but i suppose sunflowers or smth like to be drawned there:)))

so this is it - i've got a small collection of Indians' jewelry, i also have one more sketch for the volume embroidered necklace.

i used 2 15 mm jades, metal button, toho beads, delica beads, black pearls, czeck glass beads.

Mulled wine / Глинтвейн

a necklace with moss agate and pearls.
i'm proud as this is the first one which fits me very well - the pattern was very good!

i started embroidering it several days ago, and while beading i thought about its name all the time. the colour of cube beads is so 'tasty', it's like berries, and the brown colours are like cinnamon - so i decided to name it 'mulled wine')

and it's really coincidence, but yesterday we had a mulled wine party! everything was great except for the thing that i'm not allowed to drink any alkochol!...so i had to believe it was tasty on everybody's bare word)




i used moss agate, two pretty buttons, brown (or golden?) and white pearls, cube beads, delicas

давно работа не занимала у меня столько времени...0_о 2 недели! начала давно, вышила основной рисунок, потом оказалось, что бисер, подобранный мной для фона, не совсем отвечает остальному стилю - работа отложилась...следующую неделю я смотрела на недоделанное колье из-под одеяла с градусником в зубах и думала "я знаю!!! знаю, какой нужен фон!!.." когда невиданная болезнь немного отступила, села и доделала.
очень довольна результатом! серебряные линии вперемешку с прозрачным бисером, пропускающим через себя темный цвет основы, напоминают мне эльфийские письмена на каком-нибудь клинке или ожерелье...



а еще у меня новая драпировочка:))

использованы металлические пуговицы, японский бисер, кубики.

today i realized that people around me, who know me for a long time, view my photos, view my jewelry, even touch it, may not understand that i made it myself!
i'm shoked a bit, but this is funny:)

с удивлением обнаружила сегодня, что люди могут смотреть мои фотографии, разглядывать украшения, трогать их, щупать и не понимать, не осознавать, что я делаю это сама!... очень странное ощущение...
